Ah, the goats. I am loving watching the Littles incorporate themselves into the rhythm of the barnyard. This experience is SO much more positive than when Jessie came to live here. It’s exactly what I was hoping for!
To make things even better, Jessie has taken it upon himself to keep the peace in the barnyard. This means one thing and one thing only – keeping Brandy in line. I have no idea why Brandy is so inherently grumpy. I’m guessing it’s because she wasn’t raised with other goats and never learned to play well with others.
I caught this little interaction recently. It all happen in less than a minute, and I don’t think Sammy moved an inch the entire time. It was like he was trying to be invisible. (Maybe he’s a conflict avoider like me!)
Thanks, Jessie. Don’t know what we’d do without you!

They are cute! I cannot wait to get our goats. I thought I was ready to go for it a couple months ago but had to put the breaks on… If all goes well we will have our own buddies here in the next couple months 🙂 In the meantime I sure love seeing your guys. It fills the void while I wait.

Joan, there are days when I think I’ve got to have some goats/sheep, but I think I probably won’t cope with the responsibility that goes with it. So,… I’m glad that I can just enjoy reading the fun side of bringing up your farm friends without having to face the responsibility. Looking forward to your next post and more… 🙂

I’ll have to give that Brandy a talkin’ to when I see her! Congrats on the new members of the barnyard. Looks like a place I would like to live!
